Atelier E.B index® Cropped T-shirt, Goblin Tartan

Crafted to offer a shorter and more fitted silhouette, our Cropped T-Shirt is made from the lightest fabric we have developed to date.  Weighing in at 130g/m2 it is composed of 100% organic cotton.  This jersey uses mercerisation and Naturally Clean® technology to establish its deep clean nature and refined surface.

This tartan print was originally used on silkscreen printed garments in 2007 as part of a collection of Beca Lipscombe’s eponymous label, and here it is reproduced as a digital print. Together with index® they have recoloured and overdyed the check to achieve subtle and sun-kissed results. Atelier E.B work with familiar design motifs, ones that have been reused and revised by successive civilisations, patterns like Greek ornament, Paisley pattern, and here geometric tartan. By using contemporary production techniques to interpret them, they highlight the vitality and adaptability that makes so many people want them to be part of their wardrobes.
